Ingredients
  • 2 slices of sourdough bread
  • 1 oz goat cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 oz fresh strawberries
  • 2 fresh basil leaves
Instructions
  1. Toast both slices of bread, spread goat cheese on one side of each slice, and set aside.
  2. Bring skillet to medium heat and add olive oil to the pan.
  3. Remove strawberry stems and cut into quarters.
  4. Sauté strawberries over medium heat slowly until soft and beginning to break down.
  5. Add the reduced strawberries to the toasted bread, top with fresh basil.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
