Ingredients
- 2 slices of sourdough bread
- 1 oz goat cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 6 oz fresh strawberries
- 2 fresh basil leaves
Instructions
- Toast both slices of bread, spread goat cheese on one side of each slice, and set aside.
- Bring skillet to medium heat and add olive oil to the pan.
- Remove strawberry stems and cut into quarters.
- Sauté strawberries over medium heat slowly until soft and beginning to break down.
- Add the reduced strawberries to the toasted bread, top with fresh basil.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
