The Dallas Farmers Market is an historical produce terminal for the state of Texas with an agricultural base. This historical context in regards to a healthier lifestyle today emphasizes the importance of farmers markets to the health of a community. This is a wonderful lesson for students to know more about the food they eat and what is available throughout the seasons of growing.
During open hours plan ahead with the Dallas Farmers Market, 214-664-9110 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We encourage student groups to visit the Dallas Farmers Market. We ask that large groups of over twenty (20) call ahead so that we can expect your group and discuss van/bus parking. We ask that there be one adult per 10 students when attending the Dallas Farmers Market. There is no charge, however we suggest students bring money to buy some food items from the vendors.
