Field Trips

The Dallas Farmers Market is an historical produce terminal for the state of Texas with an agricultural base. This historical context in regards to a healthier lifestyle today emphasizes the importance of farmers markets to the health of a community. This is a wonderful lesson for students to know more about the food they eat and what is available throughout the seasons of growing.
