Thank you for your interest in the Dallas Farmers Market community! We receive many applications from non-profits throughout DFW. Applications are carefully reviewed to ensure non-profits represented at the Dallas Farmers Market have a clear mission, have a track record of positive impact in DFW, and comply with our community standards. In order to maintain an atmosphere that is welcoming to all community members, the Dallas Farmers Market does not affiliate with any groups with exclusionary messaging (i.e. political, proselytizing, etc.).
All non-profit groups at the Dallas Farmers Market must provide engaging community activities at their booth. Examples include chef demonstrations, face painting, balloon artists, or children’s crafts. All community activities must have prior approval from Dallas Farmers Market staff.
Donations, monetary gifts, and the sale of goods including all forms of fundraising are prohibited as a community non-profit. Volunteer recruitment and gathering contact information is welcomed.
Community non-profits are approved for up to 2 dates per year.
A copy of Liability Insurance is required for all community non-profits.
Examples of ideal community non-profits include local libraries, nutrition or general health programs, garden clubs, animal adoption agencies, or other organizations that align with our mission to cultivate a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle for all of North Texas.
