DFM offers four distinct event spaces: The Shed (1,500+ standing / 800 seated), Pearl Plaza (up to 500), Event Lawns (50–800, flexible), and a full-campus buyout (2,000+). Each space can be configured for your event type — from intimate dinners to large-scale festivals. Weekday bookings offer more flexibility for partial-space rentals.
We recommend booking at least 8–12 weeks in advance for large events and 4–6 weeks for smaller gatherings. Popular dates — especially weekends from March through November — fill early. Contact our events team as early as possible to check availability.
Venue rental includes access to your reserved space, basic setup and breakdown support, on-site coordination during your event, dedicated bus/vendor parking, and access to power and water infrastructure. Tables, chairs, AV equipment, catering, and décor are available through our preferred vendor partners or your own providers.
Yes. Alcohol service is permitted at private events with a licensed bartender and proper TABC permits. We can connect you with our preferred bar service partners or you may use your own licensed provider. All alcohol service must comply with City of Dallas regulations.
Yes — you may use any licensed caterer or food vendor. We also have a roster of preferred catering partners familiar with The Shed and Pearl Plaza logistics. For events during market hours, your caterer will coordinate with our operations team on setup timing and access.
The Shed supports full-scale production including stage, audio, video screens, and lighting rigs. Power access points are distributed throughout the venue (see our electrical layout PDF). We can recommend production companies experienced with our space, or your team can bring their own equipment.
Yes. DFM has surface parking lots adjacent to The Shed and Pearl Plaza. For large events, we coordinate overflow parking and can arrange valet service through our partners. Bus parking is also available for corporate and group events — let us know your vehicle count when booking.
