Ingredients —
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons cold unsalted butter
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 450 F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  4. Cut butter into cubes and add to the flour mixture.
  5. Using a pastry cutter, work the butter into the flour mixture until fully incorporated.
  6. Add pumpkin puree and whole milk and mix with a wooden spoon until thoroughly combined.
  7. Use hands to work knead the dough until the mixture starts to hold together more.
  8. On a lightly floured surface, turn out the dough and pat into a 1-inch thick circle.
  9. Using a large cookie cutter, cut out biscuits from the dough.
  10. Place on the parchment paper with about ½ inch between each biscuit.
  11. Brush the tops lightly with milk.
  12. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
