Bless has a caring spirit just as warm as her quilts! Every weekend for over 10 years, Bless has shared her handmade quilts with the Dallas Farmers Market community. These gifts become cherished memories and family heirlooms. Bless shares her favorite part of being a Legacy Vendor, “When my DFM customers bring their teenage children or grandchildren to meet me, and then they tell them that we are the ones that made their favorite baby quilt or handmade toys.” Her word of advice to up and coming business owners, “Stay humble, be kind and remember that you are providing a very special service.”
Brockhouse Jerky
Jonathan, founder of Brockhouse Jerky, epitomizes southern hospitality. Every visitor to the Dallas Farmers Market is fast friends with the amazing crew of Brockhouse Jerky, whether they’re offering up jerky samples or simply sharing a smile. Jonathan is all about real authentic Texas flavors, and he sure does deliver! Slow smoked right outside of Dallas, in Seagoville, TX, Brockhouse Jerky has been serving the Dallas Farmers Market community for over 10 years. His dedication doesn’t stop with just his customers. He also locally sources from Texas farmers for one-of-a-kind flavors like BBQ Peach Jerky with Weatherford, TX peaches. Yum!
Brother’s Products
Brother’s Products is on a mission to the wonderful flavors of the Mediterranean, and for over 10 years they’ve done exactly that! Hummus, tzatziki, and pita are absolute staples of the Dallas Farmers Market thanks to Brother’s Products. Foodies flock to their booth every Saturday + Sunday morning, and if you get there too late you just might miss out! After all, these products are handmade with family recipes passed down for generations. What a treat to share in the culinary adventure with them. You’re always part of the family with Brother’s Products!
D’s Sourdough
There’s no one more dedicated than a baker with their bread. As a one woman show, D bring the freshest local sourdough bread to the Dallas Farmers Market every weekend! For 10 years, she has sourced organic Texas grains and long fermented her dough to ensure her customers have the absolute best quality bread available. It’s truly remarkable how much one person can achieve as a small business owner. Customers line up for pre-orders for D every morning, and for good reasons! There’s nothing better than D’s fresh baked bread.
Fortune Cat
Boba tea, chai teas, dumplings and plenty of SMILES – that’s what Fortune Cat has been serving up at the Dallas Farmers Market for 10 years! Husband – Wife Team, Andy and Wendy, love sharing their passion for food with the Dallas community every weekend. Fresh out of culinary school, Andy set his sights on the Dallas Farmers Market to begin his food service adventures and hasn’t looked back. Offering always-delicious drinks and menu items, Fortune Cat is a cornerstone business of the Dallas Farmers Market. One of our favorite things to hear from visitors is, “Let’s get some boba!”
Heddin Family Farm
East Texas born and raised, Heddin Family Farm, keeps the tradition of the Dallas Farmers Market alive and well! Roger Heddin, Jr. was raised selling produce at the Dallas Farmers Market long before it became the market we enjoy today. Growing and selling watermelons, tomatoes, purple hull peas and more is his life and passion. You won’t find many who love the market more than Roger and his family. Every spring and summer, customers look forward to Heddin Family Farms returning to The Shed to bring fresh ripe produce from East Texas, just as he has for nearly 20 years.
JuHa Ranch
Judi + Harry, the iconic duo of the Dallas Farmers Market! There’s no one more cowboy tough than Judi and Harry, and they’ve got the boots to show for it. This unstoppable couple has been a beloved part of the Dallas Farmers Market for over 10 years while bringing the highest quality meat to their customers. Being a Texas rancher truly requires blood, sweat, and tears (often all at once), but for Judi and Harry, the work is worth the while. When we asked Judi what she hopes to see for the future of Texas agriculture, she shared, “The hope is that more ranchers will transition to sustainable and regenerative practices. This planet must be protected for future generations and ranchers can be a part of that process.” Thank you for all you do for this planet and our future!
Kelley Farms
Kelley Farms and the Dallas Farmers Market are two (purple hull) peas in a pod! We go way back, all the way to when Keith Kelley got his start in agriculture with a successful FFA project and a truckload of mustard greens. While so much as changed since the first days of Kelley Farmers at the Dallas Farmers Market, one thing remains the same – we’re both here for the love of fresh produce and to serve our community! Decades of experience go into every interaction with Kelley Farms, and it shows! You can now visit Kelley Farms every weekday in The Market at the Kelley Produce grocery store and weekends in The Shed.
Lone Star Specialty Foods
Real passion for local honey and dedication to the Dallas Farmers Market community, that’s what Lone Star Specialty Foods is all about! Owner, Will B., keeps its it real with locally sourced honey from Prosper and Pilot Point, TX. Every visit to the Dallas Farmers Market is a chance to learn something new; when you meet Will you’ll always learn something new about honey bees! As a staple vendor of the Dallas Farmers Market for over 10 years, they’ve grown right alongside us, now maintaining over 100 hives!
Pappardelle’s Pasta
Over 16 years ago, Pappardelle’s Pasta joined the Dallas Farmers Market with dozens of varieties of authentic pasta. Rain, sleet, or heat, Tarisa with Pappardelle’s is all smiles and ready to serve her customers! Tarisa is not only dedicated to her shoppers, but she always shows love for other vendors as well. Legacy vendors like Pappardelle’s Pasta give the Dallas Farmers Market its heart! ❤️
Samco International
Mrs. Revah Onuoha and her family business Samco International are a Dallas legacy. After graduating with Business and Economics degrees, the Onuoha’s moved to Texas in 1985 and found that there were no places to buy African made products. They took up the task of providing handmade, African goods to Dallasites, and almost 30 years later, their business in still going strong. You can find Ms. Revah on the weekends with African clothing, jewelry, and baskets (handmade in Ghana with elephant grass), along with original shea butter, African black soap, and body and essential oils.
T- Rex Pickles
The tastiest pickles in Texas can be found with T-Rex Pickles! 10 years ago, Liz and Travis started their pickle adventure at the Dallas Farmers Market. These two pickle connoisseurs have personalities and flavors just as fun as their business name! T-Rex Pickles offers over a dozen varieties of pickled cucumbers, okra, peppers, onions, tomatoes, and so much more. Their pickles are easily a crowd favorite but they’re loved for more than just their dill-icious pickles. Liz and Travis are kind and caring people who make the Dallas Farmers Market a happy place to be!
Williams Garden
The Taste of Texas is best when it comes from Williams Garden! Mrs. Williams, Mr. Williams, and their son Sammy, joined the Dallas Farmers Market over 10 years ago. Time has moved quickly but there are few vendors who mean so much to the Dallas community! Every weekend customer line up to get their fresh produce from “Mama”. She takes care of her customers with love and kindness. Of all the reasons that visitors choose to shop at the Dallas Farmers Market, Williams Garden is certainly an important one!
