Celebrate the many legacies rooted in the history of the Dallas Farmers Market, thriving today, and flourishing into the future! Across the US, farmers markets recognize the first full week of August as National Farmers Market Week and we hope you join us in cheering on our local farmers, ranchers, artisans, small business owners, and market operators. Last weekend, we kickoff NFMW with our 6th Annual Dallas Original Watermelon Day and what a BLAST! Community is an essential ingredient for a healthy farmers market, after all, we’re here just for you! With over 12,000 attendees, 100 vendors, and 2,800 Texas watermelon sold, we are deeply grateful for the impact this one weekend has on our local community. This upcoming weekend, we are shifting focus to the heroes of any farmers market – our vendors!
There are “pop-up vendors”…and then there are Dallas Farmers Market Vendors, a force of nature! Committed, passionate, talented, and dependable are only a few of the words to describe our vendor community. This year, we honor the many vendors at our market who have been with us for over 10 years! Legacy Vendors of the Dallas Farmers Market, who have grown with us over all these years, are a wealth of inspiration and knowledge. THANK YOU for sticking with us through good times, hard times, seasons of change, and every precious moment in between.
Legacy Vendors of the Dallas Farmers Market include every category of business – Farmers, Ranchers, Artisan Food Makers, and Artisans & Craftspeople. For some, it is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be in the same setting as so many deeply talented individuals at one time; at the Dallas Farmers Market, it’s an every weekend occurrence! From start-ups to community icons, these vendors have set the bar for small business in DFW, and the best part is – they’re willing to share their stories with us. ❤️ Journey through the stories of the Legacy Vendors of the Dallas Farmers Market here!
