What’s fresh at the Dallas Farmers Market

Summer heat is just around the corner! Summer will bring the best of Texas’ farmers and ranchers with seasonal favorites. This year, due to freezes and rain, everything is a little delayed. When produce comes fresh from the fields, we don’t get to choose when they show up!

We can all feel summer peaking around the corner. And though we may feel that it’s time to get into the new season, our Texas farmers and ranchers are still holding on to spring. We are here at the Dallas Farmers Market to talk about what is in season, and what is just around the corner.

What will be coming into season soon? Many of everyone’s favorites are just around the corner. Summer weather will bring vine-ripened tomatoes, eggplant, in hull purple hulled peas, berries, melons, peppers, and more.
