SIMPLE SYRUP
– 1 cup sugar
– 1 cup water
– Half pint of blueberries
LEMONADE
– Grab a gallon of your favorite lemonade or click here for homemade
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Bring sugar, water, and blueberries to a boil in a small saucepan. Then lower heat and use a wooden spoon to stir and crush the blueberries to infuse the flavor.
2. Once the sugar is dissolved, cover, remove from heat and let steep for 25-30 minutes.
3. In the meantime, grab your favorite pre-made lemonade or props if it is homemade!
4. Once your simple syrup is finished, pour into a bottle or container over a fine mesh strainer to strain out blueberries.
5. To serve, either set out simple syrup and add as much to the lemonade as you like, or add all of the simple syrup to the lemonade and stir. Serve over ice and fresh blueberries.
