While each season brings its own unique tint to our world, the colors of fall hold a special nostalgic place as the green of summer slowly surrenders to copper and gold. No other hue truly embodies all things fall though like orange and we’re ready to welcome all the shades ranging from amber to vermillion this weekend as the Dallas Farmers Market Pumpkin Patch returns to The Shed.

Join us Saturday, September 13, as over 25 different varieties arrive. According to Kelley Produce the weather has been perfect this year for pumpkin farmers, producing a beautiful crop. We don’t have just the traditional Jacks, there are dreamy pumpkins like Cinderella, Enchanted, and Fairytale, and odd pumpkins like Chogo, Mr. Ugly, and Red Warty Hubbard. Even after all the tons (literally) of DFM pumpkin fun over the years, there are still a few new beauties making their debut –  Cider, Oz Mini Pie, and Wee Bee Little. Come discover Speckled Hounds and Tiger Stripes, Crystal Stars and Mini Midnights. Mystic Pies, Small Pies, White Pies, and more!

There will be pumpkin-themed kids’ activities, live music, and Window to the Wild sharing their animals and knowledge.

Sure, you could run to a grocery store for the average gourd, but why when you could create a memory-making, pumpkin-finding experience at the Dallas Farmers Market.
