The Texas we know and love is largely dependent on the success of our local farmers and ranchers. Ranchers in particular are responsible for the care of large ranges of Texas prairies that require proper management to thrive and even improve from past degradation. Ranchers of the Dallas Farmers Market are committed not only to the highest standards of animal stewardship, but also preserving and improving their land for the future. Local ranchers are actively rebuilding soils, capturing atmospheric carbon dioxide, and improving community health.
