Hard plastics #1, #2, #4, #5, (check the bottom of the container for the number inside a triangle of arrows), as well as flexible films such bubble wrap, bread bags, garbage bags, Ziploc baggies, and vegetable bags from grocery produce.

Interested in composting? Don’t miss Neil Kaufman of Dallas College discussing different options of composting, whether you live in an urban area, such as an apartment, or have an outdoor space with a yard. Composting is a great way to make use of your old food scraps by creating rich fertilizer.
