After enjoying the word fun at Pearl St. Plaza, stop by our Kids’ Activity featuring DIY Bookmarks from 10:00 a.m. to noon. And of course, there’s The Shed in all its pumpkin glory. Don’t skip over our Pumpkin of the Week, Mystic Pie. It may sound like the title of a fall mystery, but there’s no secret to why bakers love this pumpkin. Its rich orange flesh and smooth texture make it perfect for pies, custards, pumpkin bread, and muffins, with each seven- to eight-pound pumpkin yielding enough purée for two to three pies. Consider it a delicious next chapter for your fall baking.
We’ll have our Kids’ Activity DIY Bookmarks from 10:00 a.m. to noon on Sunday too, as well as Balloon Art by Bender all weekend long, so book a day at the DFM for all the pumpkins, good words, sweet treats, and fall fun. It’s shaping up to be the perfect autumn weekend at the Dallas Farmers Market.

Dock Local will be streaming the game on all TVs and serving up Blackened Crab Chowder Nachos, plus great drink deals, including $4 draft EIGHT beer, $12 Burnt Orange Texan made with orange vodka, sweet tea, and orange juice, and $12 Red River made with vodka, triple sec, grenadine, and sweet and sour. El Mero Mero kicks off happy hour at game time and keeps it going through the final whistle, while La Ventana will have the game on every TV with Texas and OU Margaritas representing both sides of the rivalry. And The 2nd Tap will have the game on with sound, plus orange vs. red Jell-O shots keeping a running score of which fan base is winning off the field. No matter which side you root for, you’re picking a sure winner with spending game day at the DFM!
