Meet John Mark Lowry and Abbey Heller. 👋 They have lived both sides of the Dallas Farmers Market, first living in Harvest Lofts, then moving to Taylor Lofts. As young professionals they were looking for a place that would offer them a peaceful atmosphere during the week, and a lively atmosphere on the weekend. John and Abbey are DFM pros and regularly frequent their favorite restaurants, stop by Market Provisions Co for a pantry necessity, and buy gifts for family and friends from The Shops at Harvest Lofts Retail. The seasonally available fresh produce has pushed John Mark to be more adventurous in the kitchen, and allows them to easily support local farmers and ranchers. When asked about his most recent interests John Mark showed off his diverse interests. “I’m a huge coffee nerd, so experimenting with new brewing methods and bean varietals is something I have a lot of fun with. We’re also pretty big into cycling, so taking long bike rides that begin and end at the Farmers Market has been great.” John Mark also helps with our Community Garden and contributes to growing our garden with fresh, local foods.
