WHAT’S IN SEASON?

June is all about springing into summer! The calendar may not admit that it’s summer until June 21^st, but Texans know that BBQ, lake days (plus farmers market days of course!), and sweet summer fruit start now. Strawberries are nearing the end of their season as the summer sizzle sets in but you can still get beautiful berries from Stilwell Farms this Saturday in The Shed! Peach season is just getting started with sweet juicy fruit from Lightsey Farms, Efurd Orchard, and Ham’s Orchard. Summer favorites like cucumbers, squash, zucchini, and green tomatoes are also in season! Don’t miss out on pickling season; these vibrant vegetables are abundant and delicious.
