Sip local at the Dallas Farmers Market Texas Wine Tasting. Wineries from across the state will sample premium wines made from the Texas grape harvest. The Texas Wine Tasting is local, hand-crafted and brought to you with care. Visit with the makers, enjoy live music and stroll the weekend market as you taste the richness of Texas.

As you sip, enjoy local cheese boards, warm swiss raclette sandwiches, live music, cozy fire pits, food concessionaires, educational activities and more. Also be sure to bring your market bags as the weekend farmers market will be in full swing with local produce, meat, eggs, and handmade artisan goods. The Dallas Farmers Market’s Texas Wine Tasting offers an exclusive tour of 100% Texas-grown wines in partnership with the Cross Timbers Wine & Vineyard Association. We’re bringing up and coming vineyards to the forefront of the occasion with fine wines from throughout the Cross Timbers region. Texas wines first gained notoriety in the early 1990s with the Hill Country and High Plains, but all eyes are on Cross Timbers vineyards for 2020. Located between the Blackland Prairie of the east and Rolling Plains of the west, the Cross Timbers was known for old oak forests but now fine wines and abundant vineyards are casting a new light on the region. Grown close to home, these vineyards are perfect day trips and winery tours along the new Cross Timbers Wine Trails – 4R Ranch Vineyards & Winery, Bluff Dale Vineyards, Bull Lion Ranch, Lost Oak Winery, Lucky Vines Vineyard & Winery, Reddy Vineyards, Silver Spur Winery, plus our farmers market regulars – Berkshire Farms Winery, Eden Hill Vineyard and Red Road Vineyard. The Texas Wine Tasting is local, hand-crafted and brought to you with care. The Dallas Farmers Market is located at 1010 S. Pearl Expressway in Dallas.

Admission $35—includes wine sampling from 10 wineries (2 selections per winery) and commemorative glass. Wine pairings available separately from fine local makers.

This event is geared for adults only, ages 21 and up only. However, the weekend market will also be open and filled with wonderful experiences to enjoy with your family. We hope you will come out to have some family fun at The Shed + The Market.
